@Stealth83 : At 18, they can go to war. So maybe I was a little involved in the battle to get rights for 18 year old kids when I was one. Remember, this was during Vietnam, and 18 year olds were drafted as soon as they walked out the high school door. The thinking at that time was if we were old enough to die, we were old enough to make some of our own choices. If I were still 18, I am sure I would still feel this way. As a grandparent of a soon to be 18 year old, not so much. To me, he is still just a baby. It seems we need to come to some middle of the road compromise, but I don't know what it is. I can now see just how most 18 year olds think, and they need another year or two to ripen.
