@Jillybean : Its not about being a winner, it about reality. Political correctness is not reality. Its just being FAKE. I agree we shouldn't judge but we all do it. If I see a Gypsy scamming I'm going to call it what it is. If I see a large intimidating man full of tattoos and dressed like a thug approaching me I'm going to interact differently towards him vs a man in a suit regardless of race. I guess your one of those people who don't believe in first and second place in a race because "everyone" is a winner.

@Jillybean : I see your point, but I don't have food laying around in my car. However, if I do hand out funds it's change or maybe a dollar. No more than a $1 tho, that money goes to my kids!

@Jillybean : well i mean i have experienced this same family stealing from my job,co workers, ect more then 4 times . I personally dont hate anyone but i like myself enough not to be taken advantage of and to be vigilant of my surroundings. i can't say much for other people who might fit my description just sharing my experiences. i don't want to share hate for anyone at the same time if you see a trend happening i don't agree that its smart to always ignore it. this has nothing to do with disliking someone because of their sexual orientation or if they chose to put a tattoo on their body my feelings and experiences with the group i described are because they have stolen and i witnessed it and had it happen to people i care about. does not mean im better or worse then them if i relapsed you better label me a theif as well because i would be.

@Benjamin1808 : Both me and my wife have offered one couple in particular help through our church on numerous occasions. We honestly wanted to help the kids. We have offered food, employment opportunities, and help with housing. Every time they have refused help and asked only for cash.

I help everyone, but sometimes I just feel like I should. Have I ever gotten myself in trouble? Yes. I once picked up an old man walking with a wheel barrow when it was cold, like snow on the ground cold in Kentucky. I loaded him and his wheel barrow up, along with the burlap bag he had. Took him home, he seemed to be sick, but told me to come back the first and he would give me some of his food stamps for being so nice. Of course I wouldn't do that! I did go home and call APS, and talk to them about him. They knew him, and said they would send someone out to check on him. They then asked if he showed me his snakes. Uh, no, I missed that part of the tour. Seems that burlap bag contained his "protection" and was full of snakes. I guess I missed that part. Another time, we had a young man ask for gas money. He had a wife and small kids in the car. They had been to a church to register for food, and the church told them to come back the next day. They didn't even have gas to get home. My husband asked him to drive to the gas station and he put gas in their car. There are ways to help people.

I didn't even look at the origination date. I used to have some Gypsy customers who looked me up when they shopped, they were positive I am psychic. One day, the mother, who was a lot older came to me and asked for help. She wanted to buy a dress pattern, and whispered that she did not know how to read. I went to the pattern books with her, and asked if she knew how to write numbers, and explained how to find a pattern, write the number, and come find me. I then helped her find the right pattern in her size, and purchase fabric. She was thrilled to be able to do this herself for the first time in her life. It made me sad to see someone her age who could not read. She was the fortune teller who used to work in Seabrook. She passed away several years ago, last I knew her husband had taken over the family business.

@MalluGuy : Some young male also approached me like that too, a while ago, I told him I didn't have cash, but that he would give me a card with his organization where I could send them a donation. He did give me a card! I did see a guy in a van going around the parking lot and they both made eye contact with each other. Seemed to me they were together.
