As part of our ongoing Getting to Know Your Local Businesses series, this week we sat down with MedCoShare of Pearland!

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer and how long have you been around?

Howdy, we’re MedCoShare! We’re a Philadelphia-based medical co-working company that started in 2020. This

year, we opened a beautiful space in Pearland. We offer turnkey medical space for health and wellness professionals that can be rented on a part-time or full-time basis. We also offer services such as staffing and marketing support.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?

Our founders have a background in healthcare and real estate. Our CEO, Ronak Vyas, saw a need for private practices to be able to get started quickly and scale as needed. The

traditional model of buying a condo or leasing space isn’t ideal for many of the health and wellness providers.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?

We are proud that we’re helping patients gain access to more private practices. Not only has this helped the doctors who report less burnout

but also patients who report greater satisfaction and better clinical outcomes.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
The best part of running MedCoShare is meeting all the incredible healthcare professionals and learning about their practices. It’s also great to see them grow. We foster a community of like-minded individuals who are interested in helping each other succeed so coming into the office feels like being a part of a club.

Who is your target market or ideal customer/client?

Our ideal customer is someone that wants to start a new practice or open a satellite location. We also support many telehealth practices. On the services side we’ve worked with smaller practices with one employee to large

foundations.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?

Ronak’s background is in commercial real estate. He started on the brokerage side before moving on to investing. He loves traveling and recently took his family on a trip across Texas.

Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?

Currently we’re offering no rent until 10/1. Just a deposit and new members can start seeing patients immediately.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?

We can do in-person or virtual tours with 24-hour notice. And if docs are interested in staffing and/or marketing

help we do a free consultation on their needs and then provide a proposal.

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?

We aim to grow by being the best in class when it comes to medical co-working space and services. We also want to expand with more locations around Houston and then further expand to Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas.
