@Goosehead No, not yet but I called the city to see if they knew & was told someone would return my call.

@Goosehead I called the owner and he said they're still short one permit. That's literally the only thing between us and some egg rolls and vegetable lo mein. He's hoping to be able to open by next weekend. He reminded me again that he will call us as soon as he gets that permit and officially has a date.

That's Great I was hoping to go by this weekend, guess we can wait another week or two :-(

@Goosehead Likewise! I stopped last night after work. Frankly, it looks ready, but it was locked tight.

@Goosehead As am I!! I try to have good Chinese/Vietnamese or some kind of fusion at lease once a qtr/season. I live very close to the restaurant we are all so patently waiting to open lol and when I see it open I will surely promptly post the good news!! I promise! Until then its worth it to note Thai Spice II (its a buffet, but its not the one on 518) on S. Voss @Westheimer has what is my favorite Asian food (buffet or not, but let's be honest we are all buffet fans$$$$) in Houston and Pearland. Don't forget Sakura has happy hr everyday from 3-7p to hold us over until the magical date

My wife and I love eating at Wrap and Roll by Krogers, I always get the Filet Bowl and the wrap and roll fries, soooooooo good.

Feel like this has been the most anticipating opening in Pearland in awhile haha

Oh man! Was looking forward to eat there this weekend! Oh well, I guess one more week of waiting.

I sure hope all of us aren't going to be disappointed when they do finnaly open up. With all of us calling, driving by, and posting to a message board about it lol. My husband thinks I'm nuts but he'll be right there too trying it all out. His only comment was "do they serve beer "? Lol

Broke down and just ordered Silverlake Hunan hopefully it will satisfy the Chinese craving that's been gnawing at me since I saw the new place "soon to open." Help me, China Star - you're my only hope.

Silverlake Hunan is really good, too! That is the place we go in Pearland! Love that they deliver!

My daughter's family is excited about this - and they live in the Memorial area! They like to came down to Pearland to eat with us, and the grandboys especially like a Chinese buffet.

@MarmaladeRiver I am hoping they have mussels (like healthy chinese buffet had) and oysters, if they did I would probably be in there 2-3 a week. If they do not I'll probably still go twice a month
