I used my Kroger fuel points - .40 cents off per gallon - to buy gas yesterday and still paid $4.09 per gallon. I feel lucky that I am able to work remotely if necessary, I think I'll be doing so a lot more often in the coming days.
Corner of hwy 36 and main road coming into the park we are at. This is just south of Somerville. PRICE GOUGING! They know it's the closest to the park and campers headed back home today.
I do have to say that I am really a bit tired of being told that if I don't like the gas prices then go buy an electric car.... I DO NOT WANT AN ELECTRIC CAR !!!!!!!!! I want the car I have.... I do not have $40,000 plus to pay for an electric car... I will use that $40,000 to buy gas....
@NJ99221: imo you shouldn't be told anything. I wonder how that will work on the power grid when everyone gets off at 5pm and are all charging their cars at 6pm ...
@Stealth83 : Still here. Extended stay til tomorrow so we don't have to wait in line at the dump station before heading home. It's very nice here- just no full hook ups. A lot quieter today with the weekend warriors gone.
Gas was still 4.37 a gallon at Brookshire Bros in Brenham. Surprising because they are usually higher on all their groceries.
