@Dorothy : "Jane Doe," did not get her abortion. That child, along with at least 2 others, were given up for adoption. She wasn't even fully aware of what was involved in "her" case. In many, many cases now, it is not about maternal health, it is about convenience. If you don't want a baby, don't have a baby, BUT, instead of taking a life, prevent the pregnancy.I would bet, just about every one of us knows someone who has had an abortion, legal and not. I can honestly say I don't know of anyone who was happy after, or didn't feel some bit of regret at a later date. As I have said, prevention of pregnancy should be the first goal, instead of looking at abortion as an alternative.

@vegas777 : I wonder if the people who are outraged by the end of Roe VS Wade realize that it is not the end of abortions it is just putting the decisions on abortions back to the individual states where it belonged in the first place!
It goes back to the vote of the people and their elected officials!
