I used to work inside a big, picture window in a store right on the main drag. Foot traffic all day. I once glued about a buck or two worth of change to the sidewalk, just for something amusing to watch. These days, that's not even enough for a gallon of gas.
My brother pointed out that my dad (1922-2019) used to say that a gallon of gas and a gallon of milk leveled out to the same price. Thank gawd milk hasn't gone up this much, yet.

@Blackbird : Kroger brand skim of milk $3.09 for a gallon. Not that far behind

@Blackbird : Well I paid 3.08 for the milk. I paid 4.34 for a gallon of gas. The price of the milk is only 1.24 behind the gas. Sad. Milk use to be much cheaper

I feel for my fellow recipients of SSI. My check comes tomorrow and I have 1/8 tank of gas in my car. I will have to fill it up since I go to rehab for my knees a couple times a week!

seems like the government didn't hold true to their promises.
All of that will run out before ill ever be able to get anyi got to go to costco for the first time today n get gas with my new card 4.89 for my 93 WINNING!
