FREE Covid Tests at COVIDTests.gov
Starting Jan. 19, Americans will be able to order their tests online at COVIDTests.gov, and tests will typically ship within 7-12 days of ordering.

The Biden administration on Tuesday quietly launched its website for Americans to request free at-home COVID-19 tests, a day before the site was scheduled to officially go online.

To help ensure Americans have tests on hand if a need arises, the administration is purchasing one billion at-home, rapid COVID-19 tests to give to Americans.

@Stealth83 : I just ordered ours with the govt, I think it says they will start shipping them out late January, we'll be lucky if we can get them by end of February

@Stealth83 : Wow, thanks for sharing that info.! Last Saturday the
CVS on Pearland Parkway told me to contact my doctor to write a prescription for me to filled at the store.
Guess they were thinking about personal insurance,.......but...
Why did the technician say that? WT__

Free at-home COVID-19 tests ordered on www.covidtests.gov and delivered by USPS. Limit of 1 order per household. Each order contains 4 individual tests. -

Medicare does not pay for at home covid tests, only private insurance and maybe Medicare advantage plans. Not sure about those plans.

@CPres : Medicare referred to as Original Medicare doesn't cover much and
what it does has high deductibles. Take care of yourself by learning more info. on advantage plans.

I've ordered my tests. I like my original Medicare w/ supplement and will not change unless it becomes cost prohibited.
