@Stealth83 : I bought an Instant Pot with a yogurt setting just for that reason. 1 large container of Fairlife milk, 2% works for me, 1/2 can sweetened, condensed milk, 2 Tbl plain yogurt, vanilla extract if you want it. Mix this really well, put in the instant pot, cover with a large plate, and push the Yogurt button. 8 or so hours later, it will beep. Remove the liner, cover with some paper towels and a plate, then put in the fridge overnight. I have every one in my family eating this now, even the yogurt haters. You don't have to add the sweetened milk, if you don't, just add 1 TBL of plain yogurt. I bought a yogurt strainer, and I let it sit in the fridge overnight. Next morning, I put it in this strainer, and let it drain off till it is as thick as I want it. You can take it all the way to cream cheese thickness, add some onions or other herbs, and use it on toast, bagles, or even a potato. There is a large yogurt group on Facebook and you can even make non dairy yogurt. I figure the cost for this recipe is less than 6 dollars for 8 full cups of yogurt. The store brands are over a dollar per cup, and maybe 6 ounces. I paid less than $50 for the Instant Pot, and it is getting a workout. Google cold start method for yogurt for a lot more information.
