I live in one of the newer neighborhoods on the east side. I didn't know that a lot of people look down on this area. It seems nice to me, good neighbors and schools. I avoid the west side because of the traffic.

@kerrbearsis : Yes, we shopped a whole lot at Pic-n-Pak. I wish it were still here in Manvel....but the prices weren't right for a big grocery run. You know the son of the owner of the old Dilly Burger is the owner of Manvel Seafood?

@DrewLundgren : I honestly think what has changed most of all is people in general. Everyone is now entitled, a victim, or a social justice warrior. No one has common courtesy. decency or empathy towards one another. Its all about me me me. Not many people in my neighborhood know each other and if you try to introduce yourself as a neighbor they think you are being nosy or they are too busy to care.

I moved to Pearland in 2015 and sure like the city. Pearland is so clean and beautiful. It is also great that the city government is very progressive and forward thinking.
