As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Emet Ramos,  Owner of Emet's Plumbing!

Tell us a bit about your business:  What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
Hey there! I'm Emet Ramos. You might have seen me around Pearland, usually with a tool belt and a friendly wave. For over 20 years, I've been the local plumber in this area. Emet's Plumbing is our family-run business, and we're all about helping our Pearland neighbors. Whether it's a leaky faucet or a major pipe job, we're here to keep things running smoothly in your home. We've been part of this community for a long time, and we take pride in being the folks you can rely on, any day, any time.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
You know, I often joke that I didn't choose plumbing; plumbing chose me! Ever since I was young, I've been the guy who loved to tinker and fix things. There's something really rewarding about finding a problem and making it right. Starting Emet's Plumbing just felt like a natural step. It's given me the chance to do what I love and meet some incredible people along the way. Every day is different, and that's what keeps this job exciting. Plus, being able to help out my neighbors? That's the best part.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, for starters. We're known for our friendly, professional service and for treating every home like it's our own. We don't just fix pipes; we build relationships. And let's not forget our 24/7 emergency service – because plumbing problems don't stick to a 9-to-5 schedule!

What is your favorite part of running this business?
It's got to be the look of relief on a customer's face when we've solved their plumbing woes. There's nothing like turning a stressful situation into a success story.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?
Our ideal customer is anyone who appreciates a job well done and values trust and reliability. We cater to all, from homeowners dealing with a surprise leak to businesses needing regular maintenance.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
A bit about me – I'm a family man, a problem solver, and a bit of a plumbing nerd. I believe a good laugh can make even a plumbing disaster a little better.

Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?
Keep an eye out! We love giving back to our community with deals that make quality plumbing services accessible to everyone.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?
We're more than just a service; we're your neighbors. We're committed to providing the best plumbing solutions and making sure you're happy and comfortable in your home.

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
Looking ahead, I see Emet's Plumbing growing, not just in size, but in the hearts of our community. We're always learning new techniques, embracing new technology, and finding new ways to provide even better service.

So, if you've got a drip, a leak, or a plumbing mystery, give us a call. We're here to make your plumbing problems a thing of the past! Remember, at Emet's Plumbing, we're not just fixing pipes; we're building trust and our community, one pipe at a time.
