I almost feel insulted that I had 2 sales and no one stole anything. One guy asked if he could go thru the giant pile of trash in the garage behind us, I said sure, he could keep what he found. He put a box back together and started filling it up. He came out and offered me $20, I said no, I had said it was free. He insisted on giving me $25!
He made my day.

I have read to take the figures and things you don't want, clean them up(dusting, again) and see if a nursing home would like to have them for gifts or prizes. My mom was the bingo queen at her facility, and she had more stuffed animals than she knew what to do with. Of course they also played for money. Many people no longer have family, and social workers try to come up with gifts for them on birthdays and at Christmas.

I have some beautiful antiques in my home. My kids have said they will rent a big dumpster when we die - and away it goes!!!

There is a resale/consignment shop at 6061 Broadway on the north side of the street..
Have some fun ... everything is inexpensive... and you make a buck or two ... Stop by and talk to Tricia.

Starbucks prices raised substantially overnight

My usual Venti brewed coffee with steamed heavy cream was $2.96 on Monday,
and then this morning was $3.25 !!
So then I checked the price of gas at HEB, was relieved to see 3.03, but that is now,
could change at the end of the day

I'll be brewing more at

Im not to the using ketchup packets for soup but seems like it

Old, Old, Connie Francis movie, Where the Boys Are. Spring break, broke college kids, resort to ordering cups of hot water. Share one tea bag, and make soup with ketchup and hot water.

@Txtoast : My Starbucks drink went up a dollar when I checked a couple of weeks ago, hope it did not go up again! I have actually slowed down in going and do not always participate in their "dashes". I have a keurig and make a good drink for myself...probably less calories, too!
