UPDATE: 5th Suspect Arrested!
Pearland Police Detective Cecil Arnold is pleased to announce that the 5th (and final) suspect in the Money Mart Pawn armed robbery back on June 26 has been taken into custody.
After a thorough investigation, Jacoby West (25, Houston) was identified, brought in for an interview, and subsequently charged with Aggravated Robbery after confessing to the crime.
Also, quite a bit of praise has been thrown at PPD from Houston PD, Harris County Sheriff's Office and ATF for their quick apprehension of the original 4 suspects and the excellent investigative work that led to West's arrest. Information obtained by PPD has helped with multiple robbery and weapons cases throughout the Houston area...Which are/were being investigated by the task force comprised of the above agencies.
Congratulations PPD!
