Concrete paving operations of the west southbound lanes of Old Alvin Road will take place today, Thursday, April 12, 2018, between the Cockrell Elementary School driveway on Old Alvin and McHard Road, from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There may be brief intermittent traffic stoppages to allow concrete trucks to enter and exit the work zone. The one-way northbound traffic detour between Town Ditch and the school driveway will remain in effect.Additional Traffic Advisories will be published as warranted to inform the public of new developments on the project, including changes in traffic circulation patterns as the work progresses. Please obey all construction zone signs and flaggers, and be aware of construction equipment and personnel within the work zone.
