Pearland Police Department’s Safe Return ProgramAs part of the Pearland Police department’s ongoing mission to be a proactive agency they wanted to shed light on one of their many programs. The Safe Return Program seeks to collect voluntary registrations from parents/guardians/caregivers of individuals diagnosed with Autism, Alzheimer's, Dementia or some other mental/intellectual disability. It is their hope that any of their officers who may come in contact or be called upon to locate an individual in a time of crisis can utilize this information when every second counts.
