On January 7, 2019 the Pearland Police Department partnered with the Pearland High School and Pearland ISD Administration for a full day of Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training. Participants were instructed on the "Avoid, Deny, Defend" tactics and the day was concluded by a live scenario performed by the Pearland Police Department SWAT Team.
