Pearland PD Officers Graduate K9 SchoolThe Pearland Police Department is proud to announce that three PPD officers and their K9 partners have graduated from the Houston K-9 Academy. The Houston K9 Academy law enforcement class was 8 weeks long, with some of the training being held right here in Pearland at different businesses and subdivisions. Officers Gangloff (Photo 1 with Angel), Tauss (Photo 2 with Atos) and Griffith (Photo 3 with Nodi) all completed their certification today, Friday, June 9. In addition to completing the class, Officers Gangloff & Tauss were also certified as K9 trainers and Officer Griffith was able to play catch up and get certified as a narcotics handler. "All three of these officers worked hard and left a great impression on those in the class," said Officer Jason Wells. "The instructors had such positive comments to say about them, we at Pearland PD just can't help but be proud. We have an absolutely awesome K9 team of officers and service animals!"Congrats to all the graduates, both 2 and 4 legged.
