Let’s play ball!

The City of Pearland and United States Fastpitch Association (USFA Texas Softball) representatives attended a ribbon cutting on Friday, May 19, 2023 commemorating the completion of the baseball field turf conversion project at the Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch. The ceremony preceded the start of the 2023 USFA Texas State Championship Tournament which was held in Pearland for the very first time.

Mayor Cole threw a solid first pitch in celebration of the new turf which allows flexibility for both baseball and softball play; a benefit to both regional tournament organizers and local athletes alike.

Glad that the Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch will be put to good use with all the Pearland kids. Congratulations to Mayor Cole for throwing the first pitch.
