It provides people with mobility and access to employment, community resources, medical care, and recreational opportunities. Pearland is one of the fastest-growing suburban cities in Texas, and they are using this time to consider if public transit is needed.This study and its resulting plan gave the community a chance to take a closer look at Pearland, its mobility needs, and how transit services could fit into that mix, including:*Review a technical analysis that takes a closer look at Pearland’s population and employment patterns.*Examine what kinds of public transportation may work in Pearland, as well as potential costs and funding sources.*Provide considerable input to inform the recommendations for public transportation for Pearland.Attend a public meeting and share your input!May 16 | 6 - 7:30 P.M.
