The proclamation designates, recognizes, and honors this week as Correction Officers & Employees Appreciation Week in Pearland, Texas.Their Pearland Jail Staff exemplifies professionalism, integrity, and strength in the face of a difficult and often dangerous work environment. Often unseen, they work in a challenging, and sometimes dangerous environment, but play a vital role in the operation of the police department. They honor their Pearland Jail Staff and express their gratitude to the men and women who work tirelessly to maintain safety and security within this facility.“No group of Americans has a more difficult or less publicly visible job than the brave men and women who work in our correctional facilities.”
