It provides people with mobility and access to employment, community resources, medical care, and recreational opportunities. Pearland is one of the fastest-growing suburban cities in Texas, and they are using this time to consider if public transit is needed.This study and its resulting plan give the community a chance to take a closer look at the Pearland, its mobility needs, and how transit services could fit into that mix, including:*Review a technical analysis that takes a closer look at Pearland’s population and employment patterns.*Examine what kinds of public transportation may work in Pearland, as well as potential costs and funding sources.*Provide considerable input to inform the recommendations for public transportation for Pearland.They want to hear directly from you and understand how they can better support their residents and their mobility needs.
