Kitten season is here and with that comes an influx of little ones that are in need of foster/rescue/bottle feeding programs to help them survive without mom until they are old enough to be weaned and adopted into their forever home.
Team Feral came to the rescue this week and brought into their organization 7 of their kittens in need of a bottle-feeding team. They are now getting all the care and nutrients they need in their foster homes, giving them time to grow up without any worries. Once they are weaned they will be well on their way to finding their forever homes. Thank you so much for rescuing!
When I started with Bumble, he weighed 1.5oz and took 1cc of formula an hour, 24 hours a day. As he got bigger, we did go longer between feedings. He was probably 3 months old before he was fully weaned. He never forgot his bottle. It was funny the few times he managed to find one to see a 16 pound Meezer with a bottle in his mouth walking around crying, wanting someone to fill it up and "feed" him.
