Group Of Suspects Burglarize Vehicles

According to police reports, on December 24, 2018, between the hours of 1:30 AM and 4:00 AM in the Lakes of Highland Glen subdivision, approximately 30 vehicles were burglarized.

Surveillance video shows three males (unknown race) in a black pickup truck (unknown make or model) entering vehicles and checking door handles.

These cases have been forwarded to the Pearland Police Department Criminal Investigative Division for further investigation

The Pearland Police Department would like to take this opportunity to remind citizens to secure their vehicles and remove valuable items.

Anyone who has any information about the above crimes are urged contact the Pearland Police Department at 281-997-4100.

@Stealth83 : Some people have more than 2 vehicles 🚗 or they use their garage for other things and there is no room for their cars

We have one car (the newest of the two in our garage) and one car in our driveway. It is always locked and there is never anything valuable when it is parked. In the 11 years we have lived here, we have never had the car burglarized.

When we lived in Chicago, both cars were in the garage (it was a bigger garage and detached from the house). Never burglarized there either. Lived there over 30 years.

Who cares why they aren't in a garage its on their property it should be safe and people shouldn't steal.

Hmmm, a family of 3 or 4...
2 car garage
Mom has a vehicle, dad has a vehicle, 1 or 2 teenage drivers. Not everyone can park in the garage.
It's simple math really. Doesn't mean any one family member deserves to be robbed for not being able to park in the garage.
