@Stealth83 : I always liked driving in the early morning during the fall. In Western Kentucky, there would be leaves changing color, and a mist low on the ground. You could also smell the smoke from the tobacco barns, smoking the burley before market. In a few areas, you would pass smoke houses, and see the smoke filtering out and the smell of the meat. We would often drive down through Elkton, a lot of Amish and Mennonite farms in that area, and Yoder's Bakery. Their food was fantastic! There was one farmer who drove a tractor, pulling a covered cart. His wife sat in the cart, in a rocking chair, always doing some type of needlework. Sometimes we would end up behind a wagon of hay, pulled by horses, maybe with a couple of kids on top of the hay.
