No special plans here, I am working on some sewing projects. I hope I can convince people to eat leftovers tonight. I have some lemon pasta with grilled chicken, apple pork chops with rice, and a large pasta salad up for grabs. If that fails, it will be tacos or burritos.

@Megyn1 : One thing about low potassium, there are no shortcuts. Most of the recipes are long, trying to cover the lack of things. Everyone loved the pasta except my husband, the one who should eat it.

@susieq : yes ma'am. You know truthfully it has taken me 64 years to say no. I would begrudgingly do chores and gripe under my breath. Many times too I'd gripe as loud as I could. The response was always same. They'd stare at me liked clueless puppies, me knowing they were not getting it & worse their thoughts. "Well how long is this gonna drag out?" "Think I should wait a minute to ask for that sandwich?" " Wonder if my ________got washed." " Mom can I got to Steph's? "
I felt like the teacher on the Peanuts cartoons. Wahwahwawawa.

When my kids were growing up, they always had two choices, what I cooked, or there was always peanut butter. As I have said before, I asked them to START the dishwasher. It was loaded, all they needed to do was add the detergent and push start. The three of them spent my whole work day arguing over who's turn it was to do it. I came home to them still arguing.
