I don't have a problem with hand free, but the texting has got to stop. Let's not forget the 13 senior citizens murdered by a man who was texting and drifted into their lane hitting them head on.

@mommajo I would love to see comparative stats...I suspect that there is not much difference in percentages ( except for money collected in fines)

@margarita I agree with you. The world was a simpler place before all this high tech technology took over. My momma used to always say, "the world is getting weaker, but wiser." As a child I didn't understand her meaning. But, I can now fully understand the concept behind the statement.

@Lfroo I like the way you voiced the consequences. I think if more people were made to step in "deep doo-doo," they just might think twice about certain decisions.😃😃😃

@Sophie1 - Let's NOT forget that there were drugs, there was alcohol and there was substantial lack of sleep involved there. Texting was a small amount (mind you not justifying one or the other) of that tragedy.
