@Megyn1: Yes all of them, I hated that gym suit. I hated PE, that old suit made it worse. It was uncomfortable and ugly. I liked the radio because I could take it outside and listen to whatever I wanted to.Thanks for the memories 🩷🩷😊

Our gym uniform was short short bloomers, elastic around the legs for modesty of cours, and white, button down the front shirts. HATED those uniforms.

My grand dad always kept me supplied with a transister radio. When I was 11, I spent Thanksgiving week in the hospital. Started with strep, which morphed into pneumonia. Every morning, at 6am, one of the local stations started the day with playing Daydream Believer by the Monkees. It is what I woke up to. I wore several of those little radios out over the years, but that one was really a big comfort item.
