There was a whole crew of guys repairing the pavement, most are still not accounted for.
All I can say is thank goodness it happened when it did, and not at rush hour.

A ship that has lost its steering is dangerous. Many people don't realize how bad it can get, but how many years, and how many ships have been in that harbor? I heard that bridge had 11 million people travel over it per year.

I had a post of a long shot of the bridge as the ship rams it, and the slow motion falling of the middle span. Faceboogers marked it as fake news last night.

@Vbase1 The worst I heard was that people hoped their shipments were not on that cargo ship !! Give me a break !! Who cares about the cargo !! Care about the
destruction and the lives lost !!! Made me want to scream !!!

You know what irritated me was that at all the first of news conferences and updates, these officials spend 20 minutes thanking everybody that showed up, the FD chief thanks the Mayor who thanks PD chief who thanks the first responders. THEN, they give us a brief 3 minute info session tell us little to nothing. You can tell its an election year. Smh...
