WE REMEMBER June of 1944
George Stinney Jr. was the youngest person to be sentenced to death in the 20th century in the United States.
He was only 14 years old when he was executed in an electric chair.
During his trial, even on the day of his execution, he always carried a bible in his hands, claiming to be innocent.
He was accused of killing two white girls, 11-Year-old Betty, and Mary of 7, the bodies were found near the house where the teenager resided with his parents.
At that time, all members of the jury were white. The trial lasted only 2 hours, and the sentence was dictated 10 minutes later.
The Boy's parents were threatened, and prevented from being present in the courtroom, and subsequently expelled from that city.
Before the execution, George spent 81 days in prison without being able to see his parents.
He was held in solitary confinement, 80 miles from his city. He was alone without the presence of his parents or a lawyer.
He was electrocuted with 5,380 volts in his head.
70 years later, his INNOCENCE was finally proven by a judge in South Carolina. George was innocent, later to find out Police Officers had set him up looking to blame someone for the murders.
May his innocent soul rest in peace.

And we wonder why BLM is so important and brings out such strong emotions. The jury 'deliberated' 10 whole minutes.

The Chinese have had a very lucrative market for years, selling organs from their political prisoners. For a price, you could fly into the country, and in a matter of days have any organ you needed. Rumor was that anesthesia was not even "wasted" on the donor, since they were not expected to live anyhow.

To see these pictures in color is heart breaking and hits close to home. Black and white pictures fool you into thinking this happened long ago. I know our country has come a long way since then but bad cops still exist and innocent people are still victimized daily. Being a person of color I know things like this are still possible but I also know our country has done much to stamp out institutionalized discrimination. This is another reason I believe in 1st amendment audits and showcasing tyrant police officers that continually overstep their authority.

I got "lost in a rabbit hole" on Google the other day. I happened on a web site of early honey moon pictures from Texas. I was horrified to see photos of lynching in just about every group. How could people take these pictures, and believe it was OK? WHY would you take them, and show them as something to be proud of?

As I sit here, a hundred years later, I really hope that if I had lived during that time, I would have been a better person. It seems almost impossible to believe that anyone could behave in such a way. I just hope and pray we never go back to a time of senseless cruelty like this.

Yes! any police officer found to be abusing their position should be fired and have charges brought against them. Just because they "wear a badge," does not make every police officer right. Even they should not be above the laws we expect them to uphold.
