I heard the hotels were going to start a new bag check while you are
checking out.... Not really but wouldn't that be a rather poor thing to happen in the
lobby !!!!!

I know the all inclusives are pretty strict with their beach towels. I imagine they would charge for missing bath towels also since they do try to nickel and dime you on everything if your not careful.

I have a friend with an Air B & B on a lake. Men rent it most of the time, because it is a good place to fish. They also kept stealing every towel in the place. It got so bad she insisted they start bringing their own towels.

Can you rent anywhere without a card anymore? Anything missing from the room, they just auto charge that card, not that I know from experience. It's been decades since I stayed some where with decent enough towels worth stealing.
I do like @MalluGuy's idea, I wonder how big a tip you'd need for the maid to lend you her vacuum?

People borrow them from our airbnb!! Never to be returned. Sad people steal so much these days.

@forever73 : I've seen nice, politely worded little signs in a lot of non-chain places that state "anything missing will be charged to the card you used for check-in."
