Froberg Farms is a Christmas Tree farm opens Nov 20!
Froberg Fruit and Vegetable Farm / Greak's Smokehouse, Alvin, Texas
We have a Christmas Tree farm!
It opens tomorrow, November 20th and will close December 19th. It is located on CR 146, across Highway 6 (catty corner) from Knights of Columbus.
Times:
Monday- Friday: 2pm to 5pm
Saturdays and Sundays; 9am to 5pm
Thanksgiving: 2pm to 5pm
Black Friday: 9am to 5pm
We do not have citrus trees this year.

a word from Froberg Farms on Saturday!

We have s'mores there at the tree farm, and some ornaments and stuff to buy.
But yes mainly just the trees. No other activities.

I certainly don't have room for a tree, but I'm going to be there next weekend so I'll see if they'll sell me a few branches. I love the smell, and I have a fireplace in this new place.

Our market store is closed today and tomorrow.
*** Our Christmas Tree farm is open today 2-5pm
*** And it will be open tomorrow 9pm- 5pm

on Saturday, 27th. a word:
Our market store is back to normal hours, open from 8 to 6.
Our Christmas Tree farm is open from 9 to 5.
NO PETS ALLOWED

I think that may be less expensive than the big box stores. It would certainly be fresher. I saw some big ones at Lowe's the other day, $179. We don't have live trees, allergy problems, but we do have really nice fake ones.

@susieq : thanks for mentioning the big box stores, I'd forgotten about them.
Only thought of Kroger and the like, it's been a long time since I bought a live tree
