3 Armed Men Tear Through Pearland Home

A Pearland family got a crazy surprise on Saturday night when they found out someone had broken into their home while they were out for a birthday dinner.

The family's security alarm went off after 3 armed men broke down the back door and entered the residence. Thankfully, the Vo family was out at the time. The suspects were seen on video waving their guns around as they scurried about the house.

Homeowner Viet Vo says he believes his family was targeted since the home invaders took absolutely nothing.

So incredibly sad. Can't imagine the fear and anxiety it brings to the family and their neighbors. It was bad enough we had to begin to fear parking lots and public restrooms, now our backyards and front doors in broad daylight are under attack. Just so sad!

I don't know what's freakier... armed men breaking into your home, or armed men breaking into your home, seeing that you're not there, then leaving empty-handed. I don't know that I would want to go back home. 😲

Don't be complacent there are crimes on both sides of town. Pearland overall is fairly safe. Map of crimes in Pearland at the link.

We do have issues on the east end, fortunately I live in a older neighborhood that has a high percentage of original owners, lot of retirees. There is always folks outside. I for one enjoy gardening so if I notice a car driving around that isn't familiar I make sure they notice I am watvhing them and for back up my 90 pound GSD let's me something is going on..

We are the same way in my neighborhood with watching out for each other. So far there has not been much in my subdivision, but it is good to keep watch.

Sad, sad, sad. I am happy that no one was hurt and nothing was taken. However, there is always a loss of comfort when someone enters someone's home uninvited. I say again, we live in a scary world.
