Popular Grocery Chain La Michoacana Is Expanding to Pearland La Michoacana, the well-known Texas grocery and meat market chain, is getting ready to open a new store in Pearland. The store will be located at 3218 East Broadway Street. This will be another step in the company's growth across Brazoria County, bringing its popular marinated meats, fresh produce, and Mexican grocery items to even more local shoppers.According to state filings, the project comes with a $900,000 price tag. Workers will completely transform an existing 10,000-square-foot building into a full grocery store and meat market. The renovation will include special refrigeration systems, fresh food display cases, and a dedicated butcher area, all designed to support the fresh cuts of meat that La Michoacana is known for.Construction on the new store is set to begin this fall, with work starting on October 30, 2026. The company is aiming to finish the project by January 30, 2027, in time for a winter opening. Once complete, the new location at will give Pearland residents another option for grocery shopping.
