There are many items of clothing and gear still in the good ole USA.
One of my faves in Diamond Gusset in Tennessee . Even uses US manufactured fabrics. Jeans, shorts, shirts, belts, and other items.
There is a site called Huckleberrry that only carry's US products. Many are made in CA.
I stopped at the Filson factory in Seattle the last time we were there, 18 months ago. Many people manufacturing items; sewing coats, jackets, pants, shirts, and baggage. Cutting patterns and moving finished items.
I am old and have worn the same sizes since college. Got more clothes than I will ever wear out. But still pick up items every now and then.
Bangladesh makes some nice pants. India nice shirts. But I try to get US.
Bought new chains for my two chainsaws this week. Oregon brand, made in US. At Home Depot!

Just for the record, a lot of numbers in this article are just wrong. The $4 billion quoted above is almost nothing when it comes to the trade deficit.According to the US government ( ustr.gov/countries-r egions/china-mongoli a-taiwan/peoples-rep ublic-china ) the US-China trade deficit is $386 billion, which means the $4 billion quoted above is only a 1% change in the deficit...almost nothing.The real numbers:
Americans would have to buy $1,181 per man, woman and child less from China every year to balance out the trade deficit. For a family of four, that means buying $394 per month less from China than you are now, household wide.
