Stomp's Burger Joint - PearlandWho doesn't love a good burger?? They're a favorite of mine for sure... That's why I'm super excited to announce that Pearland is getting a brand new burger restaurant - Stomp's Burger Joint! Stomp's will be located at 12705 Broadway (old Einstein Bros Bagels building), and should be serving Pearland by September according to owner AJ Jaser.AJ took over the original Stomp's location in Baycliff (Kemah) almost 4 years ago."I'm excited and nervous for the opening," said AJ. "But, between my family ties to the area and the growth, Pearland was the perfect fit for a second location!" When asked what we could expect from Stomp's, he added, "Expectation creates quality, and that's what we strive to bring to the table...A quality product!!"AJ went on to say they are completely redoing the inside of the building so Stomp's will be able to accommodate at least 55 people...And that's just on the inside. The existing drive-thru is going bye-bye, which will give way to a beautiful dining patio. That will in turn add dozens of extra seats outside. Now normally, I would've made the trip over to the coast myself to test out these tasty stacks of beefy goodness for y'all, and find out exactly what was in store for us once Stomp's opened. However, thanks to some minor surgery, I was sidelined. Have no fear though...I sent my friends, and fellow food hounds, Gabe and Austin instead. Here's Austin's take on Stomp's Burger Joint and the dishes they tried..."Let me just start by saying WOW!! Now that I got that off my chest... Below, I have captured each menu item we received and given some brief thoughts towards them.'Texas Rattlesnake Eggs'

CREAM CHEESE MIXED WITH DICED JALAPENOS, SMOKE BACON AND SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE, SERVED WITH RANCH
-These are no ordinary fried jalapeno cheese balls. The batter along with the combination of the cheeses, ranch and bacon gives this a regular old kick in the tastebuds. An ideal way to start your burger journey! 'Stomper Burger'

TWO 100% ANGUS BEEF PATTIES SERVED ON A HOAGIE WITH BEANS, LETTUCE, TOMATO, SOUR CREAM AND GUACAMOLE
-Sabroso! To compare The Stomper Burger to a Mexican dish; this is a Torta, but one heck of a torta! The taqueria-style refried beans were highly authentic and served on a hoagie roll, along with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole...but wait, there’s more. They stack not just 1 but 2 of their thick 100% All Beef Angus patties. 'Dynamite Burger'

ANCHO RANCH, TOMATO, LETTUCE, PEPPERJACK CHEESE AND GRILLED JALAPENOS
-Stomp’s has created a picture perfect burger with this gem! At first glance you'd think it would be spicy. However, it was not at all overbearing and gives way to the medley of flavors along with the grilled-to-perfection, mouthwatering patties. This is the only dynamite you want exploding in your face! Oh and thanks a lot Stomp’s...now I have a new Stomp’s Ancho Ranch addiction! Stomp’s Burger Joint doesn't fall short of a heavy contender in the Houston area Burger scene. These guys are ones to track as they expand not just into Pearland, but possibly other territories (it would be easy for them). One other thing...you would think for the size of the dishes you’d pay top dollar, but that’s not the case at Stomp’s!! They're highly affordable...with handcrafted burgers priced from $7 - $11, it's a steal!Pearland, you're in for a treat!" Good luck to AJ and crew.
