Please join the Pearland Police Department in welcoming their newest officers, Officer James Anderson and Officer Serlyn Rivera, who were sworn in and pinned by Pearland Chief of Police Johnny Spires this morning at a small Pinning Ceremony held at the Police Department. Officer James Anderson is a Pearland native who served four years in the Marine Corps prior to beginning his career with the PPD. Officer Serlyn Rivera is from Phoenix, Arizona and received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University in 2022. Congratulations Gentlemen!!! We applaud your hard work and welcome you to their PD family!
