Pearland ISD Receives 94 in 2022 Accountability Rating SystemAccording to TEA, with this year’s updated standards for the new A-F accountability rating system, the 2022 and the upcoming 2023 ratings cannot be compared side-by-side, due to many changes in the refreshed system. For example, Pearland ISD received a score of 94 in the 2022 Accountability Rating System, which would have been a 90 if the methodology from the new A-F system had been applied last year. Also according to TEA, campuses and districts with an “A” in 2022 may overall improve in 2023 and still receive a “B” under the new ratings.
