When she passed away it was missing from her bureau drawer, guess

I moved a year ago, just opened a box last week and found $110 worth of Canadian money. I haven't been to Canada since way before Covid. Beautiful stuff, by the way, with little windows, colorful, they're just works of art.

@Blackbird : I get to visit Canada two or three times a year… I find Canadian coins and bills all the time from previous trips.What's fascinating is that I use less and less cash. I don't think I converted any money during my last few trips since I only use credit cards.

Growing up in Detroit (Northern Windsor, Canada) we used to find Canadian coins in our stash all the time. A couple places with auto change dispensers would sub Canadian quarters ever 4th like clock work.
Last time I moved I tossed a coffee table with a mix of Canadian and American pennies on top. Sorry, no pics, but it was beautiful.
