Warm across SE TX today with increasing shower/thunderstorm chances this afternoon & evening. Turning much colder tonight as a strong cold front moves thru the area. Decreasing rain chances late. Becoming breezy inland & windy coast. Wintry weather possible for parts of SE TX Thu night thru early Fri morning. Rain could transition into a mix of rain/sleet/freezing rain/snow. If this happens, driving might become treacherous/dangerous. Conditions improve Friday as temps warm & area dries out. Stay weather aware and make sure you have a way to receive warnings if they are issued.
