Well, it's too late for me to be lazy today! I was at the rec center by 6:30 this morning for an hour of pickleball, then I walked on the track before going to an 8:30 exercise class. I made a stop at the bank on my way home and am getting ready to head out for lunch now!
National Middle Child Day
Are you a middle child in your family? I am, 4 brothers and 2 sisters! 🎈
Also it's National Vinyl Record Day! ⏺️
Did you have LPs and 45s?

I'm not the oldest or the youngest so I guess I would be considered a middle child. I think of my younger brother more of the middle child because my sister and I are the oldest and my youngest brothers are twins so one brother is in between the two girls and the twins.
I do still have a few vinyl records but no longer have a record player.
Senior Citizens Friday neighbors!
Today encourages supporting senior citizens to live their lives to the fullest and as independently as possible. 🪅
Qu: What age is a senior citizen? 🤔
Qu: Do most senior citizens retire at age 65?
Qu: Do senior citizens receive discounts?
Meanwhile I'll check for special discounts and promotions that may be offered at stores and restaurants in
area. Post some if you know of any. Every penny counts!🪙
👛 Have a good Friday everyone! Stay cool this weekend!

September 05, 2026 is National Cheese Pizza Day! Did you know that Americans eat approximately 350 slices of pizza per second? Whether you prefer thin crust, deep dish, or regular style, today's the day to celebrate one of the most popular meals in the country. In the 1800s, most Italians thought of pizza as a peasant meal. That changed when a baker named Raffaele Esposito created a margarita pizza for visiting royalty. The king and queen were impressed by the colors of the Italian flag represented by the pizza's white mozzarella cheese, red tomato sauce, and green basil. Pizza became fashionable overnight and was soon a staple in restaurants all across the country. Today, there are hundreds of different pizza types and toppings, but they all originated with the classic cheese pizza. To celebrate National Cheese Pizza Day, order from your favorite pizza place or make your own homemade pizza for dinner tonight. Enjoy!

One of my favorite comfort food. I ❤️ to make pizza 🍕 especially when the weather isn't to warm
