Just checked out the Peach Truck. I wanted to get some peaches but 25 lbs is a lot for me and my kid. Wow ! Peaches do look good ! Do the peaches taste different from the grocery store? Can anyone give me some info on these peaches pls. O was thinking of catching it next time around so I can make some room in my freezer and stash them there for future use.

@Minnie504 Peaches when fresh are wonderful..... open air markets
are the freshest .... at the grocery not as fresh !!!

@Minnie504 : Look up the vendor. Peaches are brought here from a
mid west state, they make their rounds during peach season. Emoticon

Yes I did, I asked a gentle man and he said he has heard good things and it was his first time purchasing the peaches. I have to make room in my fridge because I don't think I can eat that much in such short time. Have to plan ahead so I can store some and enjoy some. Thanks for your info. 😉

Oooh I love peaches But can you freeze whole peaches without them being all soggy after you thaw them out? Figured you probably have to cut them in chunks before you freeze them.

I love roadside peaches near Frederiksberg.... I have so many memories of stopping at one as a child and them being so juicy that it would run down my arm while I ate it.

You cannot get that in a store. Sigh, I miss that.
