There seems to be disagreement on which to choose. I like it being light later in the day, but if I was an early riser I might go the other way. Maybe they should split it in half and change the time to the 30 minutes in between. It would make it harder to transpose to overseas time zones though. It doesn't bother me as much now, but I really hated when daylight savings time ended. The kids evening games were harder to get in if there wasn't good lighting.

I would like them to just change it and stop this nonsense twice a year!

It takes me about a week to get back into the groove after each time change.

That's two weeks per year suffering a disrupted sleep pattern, and I'm convinced that cannot be healthy.

After more than a century of torturing ourselves with this practice, we should just set one time and let ourselves enjoy the natural rhythm throughout the year.

@wondersunny78:
I think that we should just pick a time and stick to it year-round. While the time change itself has never bothered me-I just look at the clock and whatever it says, that's what time it is but my husband struggles with it for weeks. He'll constantly remind me what the "real" time is, and I always have to remind him that the clock says otherwise! It would be much simpler if we just stopped the twice-yearly ritual.

If we're keeping this time right now, I'm good. If they want to keep what we have in winter, no way. My fav 2 weeks were when my company sent me to training in San Jose, and I just stayed on CST. As far as I was concerned, classes started at 10am, not 8, lunch was about 2, dinner about 8. I was so wide awake and alert that entire time!

Definitely a daylight savings time! Safer driving at night and safer security wise as well! Keeping my eyes and fingers crossed that the bill will pass the Senate!

@wondersunny78: i hope they end it. I don't lean towards either side so hopefully they can just pick the time and stop changing. I was showing my daughter a video of Alaska last night and they lady in the video was saying it was 11:30 pm and she put on her shoes and walked outside, it was pure daylight! As if it was 11:30am. I could not survive on Alaska days/nights.
