Ernie Banks "Mr Cubs" himself

CPres : Brooks Robinson

CPres: Hubby just loved (The Mick) Mickey Mantel. Still talks about him all the time.

Musicmaker: Back years ago when we lived in Maryland the Orioles were doing an ad on certain players came to visit the fans instead of the fans going to them. Brook Robinson, Paul Blair, Jim Palmer and Boo Powell all came to our home but Brooks was the only one that came to the door. Naturally this was all planned ahead and my hubby was really surprised. It was such a surprise for him. Back then we had no video camera but I hid a tape recorder behind a chair and was able to record the voices. Hubby definitely went crazy. Will never forget that.

CPres I only remember one sports player and that was Joe Namath ....
