° Tearing down the entire East Wing without permission so fast nothing could be reclaimed. Wood paneling marble, carvings, all gone, without a thought.
° Covering the grass of the front lawn for weeks and erecting a huge cage match structure for his birthday extravaganza.
° Planning to tear out the columns on the front porch of OUR iconic White House, just to replace them with ones he likes better.
° Spending millions on repainting the reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial in blue instead of black because he doesn't understand how reflecting pools work. It was made with black tiles for a reason. He could have just had it cleaned and restored. All of these things are being done with no bid contracts and no preservationist oversite. Maybe I am the only person grumpy about all this, but it doesn't seem like a person inhabiting a house owned by all of us should be allowed to be massively changed without permission. He is an out of control menace with no regard to anyone else. Read his Truth Social posts, listen to his full, unfiltered speeches. Decide for yourself if he is a man worthy of respect or trust. It is all out there for people who wish to see. Let's Make Lying Wrong Again, (and wasting our tax dollars that could be used for better things). The original topic is past now, but I never came back to add more issues. There are so many. That is the point, chaos is a distraction. I worry about things happening we aren't seeing. Corporations & other countries have bought up or sequestered our water rights all over the place, running rough shod over local governments, often for massive , disruptive "data" centers. We don't even know what they will ultimately be used for. Everyone that can needs to REGISTER NOW and VOTE. The 1/3rd that never votes can make a big impact.
