Can you you name a few?, especially the ones you remember.

I was always so busy reading classic literary books that I didn't know such lowly cartoons! I also was busy making up stories that some folk call fibs!

@Cardgal : I didn't watch too many cartoons either but since all of these are food mascots they are all familiar to me.

All my friends watched cartoons. Guess we didn't miss much.

He was trying to find out how many licks to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop. He never made it, he always bit into it.

A kid would ask the owl "How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?" The owl would lick it several times before biting it and saying "The world may never know". I'm not sure why he is wearing a graduation cap.
