BCSO Nail Another PredatorOn August 14, 2026, the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office, along with assistance from the Houston-Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, launched a search warrant in the 900 block of Southside Drive in Angleton, Texas.The suspect, 31-year-old Edward Lawrence Diaz III of Angleton, was found to be in posession of multiple items of Child Sexual Abuse Material.Due to the evidence collected by Brazoria County Sheriff's Office during their execution of the search warrant, Diaz was taken into custody and charged with multiple accounts of Posession of Child Pornography. Posession of Child Prnography is a first degree felony and punishable by up to life in prison.
