Today, my dad must say
goodbye to his furry best friend, Max.
He found him on the side of the I45 highway 10 years ago. He was named Maxwell, as that was the coffee brand my dad was drinking at the time. My son Gabriel and he became best buds immediately and their bond was strong even though they only saw each other about once or twice a week. Maxie will be missed but he will be able to frolic and see his furry sister and brothers again.
