This breaks my heart, the state of Texas is cutting the program
This breaks my heart, the state of Texas is cutting the program called (CAP) Children's Autism Program. HHSH proposed to cut finding.The program helps children whose families can't afford to pay for services. They have helped so many, now where are these kids supposed to go ? Were can they receive the much needed help. Abbott should be ashamed of himself to allow this to happen. I will definitely remember this when I go to vote.

NannyB: so sorry to hear this. CAP children need all the help they can get. It is just too hard for the parents to cope without the help. Unbelievable.
Megyn1: I agree totally, I read the article on Channel 2 news page. It just isn't right.
NannyB: This is terrible news. It is so important that children with autism have access to the vital services they need, and it is devastating to see this program being cut.
Musicmaker: No , funding was cut in the proposed budget for HHS. With no replacement. It's sad they don't care. Now where are they supposed to go.
