Celebrate and support local authors at LIT Java Coffee & Books for a Local Author Spotlight featuring Velanie Turner, author of The Legacy Project. Join us Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM to meet the author, get signed copies of her book, and spend the morning connecting over coffee, books, and meaningful conversation.

The Legacy Project is a heartfelt journey through grief, faith, and healing. Using the elements of a home as powerful metaphors, Velanie M. Turner shares how the love, lessons, and legacy of her parents helped her rebuild after loss and life's hardest seasons, offering readers hope, encouragement, and a reminder that God can still create something beautiful from brokenness.

Come for the coffee, community, and conversation. This public event is hosted by LIT Java and is open to anyone.
