As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Chris Lively of Chris Lively Homes.

Tell us a bit about your business:  What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
I offer personalized customer service and real estate expertise in the Greater Houston Area. I know buying or selling a home can be a very stressful event. I am here to make it as stress free as possible.  Free Consultations. I have been in business since 2013 and I have lived in the Southeast Houston/ Pearland area for over 40 years.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work?

I have been in customer service all my life and love serving clients by selling their home and/or buying a home.

How did the business get started?

I was looking for a change in careers and Real Estate is a natural fit.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
* I am known for my attention to detail and answering messages in a very timely manner.
* Currently I do not have a team so you always have my personalized attention.
* Really listening to and putting client’s needs before mine.

What is your favorite part of running this business? 

That the sky is the limit so far as earning potential.  Being able to adjust my schedule for client’s needs.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?

Motivated Buyers and Sellers looking for someone to guide them through from start to finish. I do not pressure people to make decisions. I provide the facts about the current market and offer my expertise.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
I go the extra mile and I am very detailed. I take my clients and their transactions very seriously. This is big money we are dealing with and should be treated with kid gloves.

Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?

$500 towards closing costs.
